Lexy the Dog needs a home
Lexy was lost and starving. She showed up at home near Hot Springs, Arkansas, an the family took her in then put the word out that she had been found. After several weeks of searching for Lexy's family with no success, OOTW was contacted.
Lexy as immediately vetted and found to be heartworm negative, so we believe she must have been cared for in her previous home. We had her spayed, gave her all of her shots, got her microchipped and got her a rabies shot.
Although Lexy has been in our program for several months, she continues to be overlooked. Besides being a a classic black and white dog and nice looking, she's good with other dogs, cats and children. She's a playful dog would love another dog about her size and age. She's been living with two golden retrievers at her foster home and we've had no problems. A fenced yard is a must to keep her safe when she's outdoors.
Lexy has a litte food aggression and we recommend feeding her and any other dogs separately and separating them when she has a chew stick, or simply don't give her chew sticks. We also recommend children over the age of 6 with her. Kids who can understand to leave the dog alone when she's eating.
Lexy works well on leash, is good on car great and enjoys walks.
Adoption fee for Lexy is $150 which will help to offset her vetting and care.
